Skiing in Italy

During the Easter holidays Germoe and Boskenwyn's learning champions had the opportunity to go skiing in the Aosta Valley, Italy. Most had never skied before but were incredibly excited for this amazing trip. Each day we would jump in the gondolas and head up the mountains for our ski lessons, we even had lunch up on the mountain whilst looking out over the breath-taking views- form some of the cafes you could see The Matterhorn! Once our day of skiing finished we were straight off to apres-ski which kept us very entertained in the evenings and allowed us to enjoy some more of our surroundings; there was gelato, a pizza night, bowling, a games night, walks around the town (which had some Roman ruins in), swimming, bowling and a presentation night for us to receive our awards. We had a fantastic time away and were a little sad when our time came to an end. We had become accustomed to the delicious Italian food and excitement of skiing down the mountains and even learnt some Italian along the way. Make sure you check out our pictures below to see more of what we got up to!
